Using the training, knowledge, information, support, and tools he obtained, Mike has:·Launched his own consulting company, IPI Muncie.·Founded the Common market in an underserved neighborhood.·Started a Public/Private Partnership with the City of Muncie.·Formed a strategic partnership with Ball State University - Miller College of Business where they have launched Muncie's free community #impactentrepreneurship class.·Contracted with the city to put it through In Place Impact City Impact Index (for which his company gets paid)·Built incredible brand equity and good will with all segments, sectors, and stakeholders of the city that is helping his new #consulting business·Embedded In Place Impact’s Corporate Impact Index to consult to private sector companies in Muncie, helping his clients make greater profits while making a greater difference (for which his company gets paid).·Been appointed Impact Entrepreneur in Residence at Ball State University·Been appointed City Impact Officer (for which he gets paid)·Won Community Impact Person of the yearMikes and his company are now playing a pivotal role in regenerating Muncie and helping it become a city that is economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable for all of its residents. Anecdote: Over ten- years ago, Mike filmed an interview with Stuart W. discussing how Impact Economics was a new, inclusive economic model that would help create a sustainable future for communities, cities, and countries. After Stuart left, Mike told Ian Sanchez (the interviewer), that Stuart was full of "s**t, and that no one could do that.
