It comes with a great running 2001 60 HP SUZUKI Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) 4-STROKE Motor with Power Trim and Tilt on it that is in Excellent Condition. All of the EFI 4-Stroke Motors are widely known to be the best outboard motors ever made. They are much quicker and easier to start, run a lot quieter, smoother and cleaner and get much much better gas mileage than the older carbureted 2-stroke and 4-stroke motors. The EFI outboard motors do not have chokes (that often flood engines) and they don't have any carburetors, which frequently get fouled up and dirty over the years. Cleaning and rebuilding carburetors have been one of the most common and expensive repair costs for many used motors for many years. This motor was recently checked out, tuned up and serviced by my Marine Mechanic. He had to put a New Fuel Pump in it and he changed the oil filter and motor oil as well as the grease in the lower unit at the same time. He also put a New Fuel Line and New 14 Gallon Gas Tank on it. This boat was in use during the 4th of July week and it was start righting up with a turn of the key and running really well. This boat was originally made in 1998; but was totally refinished in 2023. This motor was manufactured in 2001. Please Note: This boat and motor have never been rented out.
