Very nice campground!!Love the size of the park, not so big you get lost!Nice friendly staff and love the camp store!Nice clean laundry room.A nice room for puzzles, games or reading!Love having access to the beach! It is rocky and mucky if you go to far out!But fun to sit and just enjoy !!
For the price, it does not get any better than this. Went there for the cabin which can accomodate 5 people. It was cozy, clean with a refrigerator and a heater. Camping is near the water. Restrooms were clean and perfect. Online check-in was smooth. 15 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Would recommend!
Tried calling for pricing info on a seasonal site and since the office isn’t open it goes to the thousand trails office where they’re not very educated. She suggested I call back in May (for a site in May) and talk to someone in the office. I need to make travel plans. I can’t hold out and hope that when I speak to someone in May there might be a spot. I’ll continue my search elsewhere. But after reading these reviews it looks like it’s not the best place to stay any way and the responses here from the campground when addressing complaints are less than satisfactory

Know before you go
- Consider visiting during off-peak seasons for quieter stays with potentially better site availability
- If booking a specific site is important to you, inquire directly with the campground rather than through third-party services
- For larger RVs needing longer sewer hoses due to uphill connections on some sites bring an extension cord as well if electric hookup is at the back
- Be prepared for potential noise from local airport flight paths when staying near certain spots within the campground
Reviews
Narrows Too Campground offers a mix of positive and negative experiences according to reviewers. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities like the laundry room and bathrooms, access to the beach with beautiful views of Mount Desert Island, full hook-up sites, and proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Some downsides mentioned include issues with booking specific sites, maintenance problems affecting reservations, small campsite sizes for larger RVs, challenges with sewer connections uphill, lack of playground but a large dog park available instead. Despite some hiccups in bookings and amenities like closed showers or pool at times due to maintenance or renovations, guests generally enjoy their stay at this campground.

The staff is wonderful - friendly, kindly, energetic. The campground is tidy, and the bathrooms are clean. My site has a view of Mt. Desert Narrows and across the water to Acadia National Park and Mt. Desert Island. Last night was so quiet that I would call it silent. It's definitely pleasing and rewarding to be here.
Stayed here for a week in July. Very good location for exploring the Bar Harbor area and Mount Desert Island. Just far enough away from town to be quiet. Close enough to see the sights. It is located on its own shoreline with nice views and access to the wildlife. The sites were clean and easy to access. It is near the airport and an occasionally a loud plane went over, but not enough to be a problem.
