I received a card in the mail &I didn’t request any changes. It said if I didn’t request any changes to call 1-800-425-2363. I called and the recorded message wanted my social security number. iI don’t give that out because there is too many scams. Please e-mail me if this isn’t a scam.

I just receive a similar card by mail today 6/23/2021. In the card, it says if I did not inquire or request change, contact Fidelity immediately 1-800-425-2363. I have not called this number yet. I’m googling if 1-800-425-2363 is a real Fidelity phone or is a scam?

I also received a mailing on 5/18/2022 to call 1-800-425-2363 to confirm a recent change to my account’s username or password. I closed out my account over 3 years ago, so this mailing is definitely a scam. If you receive this mailing, I would suggest logging in to your account with your username and current password and then changing your password. Although it would appear your account is not compromised if you can still use your username and password, somehow it is known that you have a Fidelity account. Change your password, then call your Fidelity representative about this mailing.
I note that the mailing I received came from an address in Albuquerque NM but the return card you are supposed to send back gets mailed to Cincinnati Ohio. Additionally, the address on the return card says Boston MA but Dun & Bradstreet lists Fidelity’s address as being in Covington, KY.
